Their mission: make solar affordable for every homeowner. This growing company needed their digital web presence reshaped, as well as a robust B2B SEO strategy that drives brand awareness and growth. 

By more than quadrupling their organic keywords, significantly improving their site audit score, and substantially increasing their search impressions, we were able to enhance PosiGen's online visibility dramatically.

Challenge: Overcoming Poor Online Visibility to Overcome Energy Inequity  

PosiGen is tackling energy inequity head on: underserved populations often face higher energy costs as well as  limited access to renewable energy solutions.

Their solution is accessible, affordable solar and energy efficiency services to low-to-moderate income families, helping people manage their energy costs and help the planet at the same time. Their motto: solar power for all.

But despite providing valuable educational information and services, PosiGen  was not drawing enough organic traffic to the website.

They needed to drastically increase online visibility by overcoming three key SEO challenges:

  • Not enough organic keywords.
  • Suboptimal site audit score. 
  • Not enough organic search impressions.

Solution: A Phased, Growth-Driven B2B SEO Strategy

To create a stronger digital presence for PosiGen, New Perspective built a four-phased strategy. We implemented advanced B2B SEO research, processes and analytics to understand the search intent and behavior of PosiGen's target audience, and identify high-performing keywords within the solar energy industry.

Throughout the process, we took a collaborative approach, working closely with PosiGen’s team to make sure we stayed in alignment with brand and mission. Regular updates and feedback sessions kept everyone on the same page, fostering a partnership where both sides were committed to the same goals.

Phase 1: Website Audit

We began with a comprehensive audit of PosiGen's entire website. With a clear picture of their digital landscape we could  identify the areas that needed improvement and set the stage for a smart and tactical B2B SEO strategy. 

Phase 2: Keyword Research

Next, we immersed ourselves in extensive keyword research. Our goal: Find high-impact opportunities to boost the number of organic keywords that would  drive traffic to PosiGen's site. By conducting detailed research we gained a far clearer picture of search behaviors within the solar energy market.

Phase 3: Technical SEO, Onsite SEO, and Content Optimization

Once we completed our rounds of research, we identified the strongest keywords with the most potential within the industry and updated the high-priority content and metadata that would attract and engage organic traffic most effectively.

Phase 4: Continuous Website Updates and SEO improvements

Like so many other businesses, PosiGen uses the website as a primary sales tool. We used our own launchpad strategy to build initial momentum, and embarked on website improvements by focusing on the most impactful pages first.

Then we created an ongoing program of continuous improvements — as we’ve found, websites don’t thrive on a set-it-and-forget-it approach.

Our SEO-focused strategy addressed PosiGen's needs, giving us impressive results. We quadrupled their organic keywords. We also raised their site audit score. And we saw a big increase in impressions. This was over a specified period of six months.
